STAR One, part of the STAR India Network has been re-christened as Life OK with a new on-air identity, OK icon and graphics.

Having previously worked on the STAR Network’s group identity, London based venturethree, have infused a fresh breather of life with its OK icon and vibrant colours.

More than designing a new identity, what venturethree seems to have gotten right is the nomenclature of calling this youth-oriented channel - ‘Life OK’.


‘Life is OK’ or ‘life goes on’ seems to be a way of life for the Indian youth. That in spite of the travails and tribulations of daily rigmarole, life somehow chugs along - and every Indian youth believes in it today.

But apart from the new identity’s nomenclature, there seems to be a certain lack of warmth. The icon seems a bit incomplete with too many gradients and a stiff and unappealing animation.

Overall, a good start for STAR Network who have finally realized that one size does not fit all. Hope to see more such changes in the Indian television scenario!
